Regarding Cancellation / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE
|
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services - due to any avoidable /
unavoidable reason, we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would be as follow-
* Before 60 days – No cancellation charge.
* From 60 days to 45 days - 10% of the total tour / service cost
* From 45 days to 15 days - 15% of the total tour / service cost
* From 15 days to 07 days - 25% of the total tour / service cost
* From 07 days to 02 days (48 hrs) - 50% of the total tour / service cost
* From 48 hours to arrival or NO SHOW - NO REFUND
In case of Special Train Journey and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount, which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Day 1 – Depart home country
Your fascinating journey begins as you depart from your
home country for Delhi.
Day 2 – Arrive Delhi
Evening arrival in Delhi, capital of India. Traditional
welcome with garlands and transfer to your first class hotel

Day 3 – Delhi
This morning, you’ll leave for a full day sightseeing tour
of Old & New Delhi including Jama Masjid,
this immense mosque is the largest in India, Red Fort,
once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

| In New Delhi
visit 11th century Qutab Minar Tower, the India
Gate and the grand government buildings, the
President’s House and Parliament House,
all dating back to the time of British Raj.
Day 4 - Delhi / Agra (200 kms –
4 hrs)
After breakfast you’ll drive down to the city of
Taj, Agra, stopping enroute at a good restaurant
for refreshment. Arrive by lunch and check in to the hotel.
Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Late afternoon you’ll be picked up from
your hotel by “Tonga’s” (horse carriages)
that will ride you up to the legendary Taj Mahal
– A Incredible Experience !

| Visit Taj
Mahal till sunset, one of the Seven Wonders of
the World and surely the most extravagant expression of
love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years
to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's
a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly
the highlight of the tour.

Day 5 – Agra
Today you got the whole day free to discover the earlier
capital of the Mughals – Agra. Let’s start with the imposing
Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble
is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains
and gates.
Later from here you’ll proceed to a photo
tour of the Taj Mahal from the riverside to capture
the splendid views of the Taj situated across the river
Yamuna.
In the afternoon, you will drive across
the Yamuna River to visit the Itmad-ud-daulah,
more commonly referred to as the “baby Taj”, the first Mughal
structure to be built entirely of white marble.

| Then you’ll
visit Sikandra, situated in the outskirts
of Agra, which houses the tomb of Emperor Akbar. An interesting
feature here is that one cannot see all the four minarets
of the structure from one point - one of them always being
behind the other in the viewer’s line of vision.
Late afternoon enjoy a city ride
in the decorated rickshaws – an unforgettable
experience as you meander through the little streets of
Agra.
Later you may wish to explore the local
handicrafts and shopping centers of the city where one can
look for marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, Zari and
embroidery, leather goods etc.
That’s not all, after a great day, you
may like to enjoy your dinner in style. So, we have arranged
a “poolside dinner” with Magic
show in your first class hotel.
Day 6 - Agra / Fatehpur Sikri /
Jaipur (232 kms – 5 hrs)
After breakfast you’ll drive leisurely to Jaipur - the fabled
“pink city” of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former
Maharaja of Jaipur. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears,
which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors,
are now living monuments.
Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri,
which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly
preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century,
it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings
of this superb walled city remain intact to this day.

| Continue journey
to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, on arrival check in to your
hotel.
This will be a cultural evening, you’ll
visit Chokhi Dhani - An ethnic village resort,
the vitality of Rajasthani folk culture comes alive as children
dance rhythmically to the loud tenor of folk songs sung
by men and women, festooned in bright clothes. Gaily caparisoned
camel, horses and bullock carts offer joy rides. A traditional
Rajasthani dinner will be served.

Day 7 – Jaipur
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel you’ll visit
the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber,
ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. You’ll wander
among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors.

| On the way back
stop to view the elegant Palace of the Winds,
this elaborate building, now little more than a façade,
is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies
from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters,
could sneak views of the outside world.
Post lunch tour of the Maharajah’s
City Palace, now partly a museum display a unique
fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare
collection of paintings, Rajput armoury and costumes. Later
we visit the unique Observatory, situated
in the heart of the city where time has been accurately
measured since the 17th century.
Evening free to Stoll in the colourful
bazaars of Jaipur where one can shop for Jewellery, Paintings,
block prints, textiles, carpets, brassware, blue pottery
etc.
Day 8 – Jaipur / Delhi (250 kms
– 5 hrs)
After morning at leisure you’ll drive back to Delhi. Arrive
Delhi in the evening and you’ll be set free for last shopping
of your tour at the local shopping center of Delhi – Connaught
Place.
Tonight, we invite you to be our guest
to enjoy the Indian Classical Dances show
and farewell dinner at a popular Delhi restaurant.

Day 9 – Departure Delhi
Early this morning transfer to the airport to board your homebound
flight.

a spectacular sight. Nepal is a 'must visit’ preferably
after visiting India. It is an exotic country with

Day 9 Delhi / Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu - the
capital town of Nepal, the house of the highest mountains,
Kathmandu is as much steeped in beauty as in the history of
this wonderland. The place has ever since been the center
for art, crafts, culture and a rich heritage.
Welcome assitance on arrival and transfer to your first class
hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

10 – Kathmandu
After breakfast set out for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
visiting Pashupatinath Temple, the most
sacred Hindu temple in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built
in 1696. Boudha Nath Temple, the world’s
largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the Buddhist,
Swayambhunath Temple, the oldest Buddhist
shrine. Looking east from here, one can see the entire Kathmandu
valley spread out below.
Post lunch visit Durbar Square, the temple
of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. Visit
Kasthamandup, a temple built from a single tree
from which the Kathmandu derives its name.
Evening free for shopping in the popular
shopping center of Kathmandu – Thamel.

11 - Excursion Patan & Bhaktapur
In the early morning there is the opportunity (weather-permitting)
of taking the optional flight to view the spectacular Himalayan
Mountains including Everest.
Other excursions include visits to the
medieval cities of Patan, a city of architecture
and fine arts. Sometimes known as "Town with a Thousand
and Golden Roofs".
Visit Bhaktapur, Kathmandu
valley’s most medieval city also known as Bhadgaon and was
one of the three Kingdoms of Mallas. It is famous for Lion
gate, the picture gallery, the Golden gate and palace of
55 windows.
A special Farewell Dinner has been arranged
for you at a popular restaurant with cultural program.

Day 12 – Kathmandu / Delhi
(S2 502 - 1600/1710)
Time free to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Kathmandu
to shop and explore independently before your departure flight
to Delhi.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport
for your flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and pay a visit to
ISKCON Temple, the temple belongs to the
International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
One of the 40 ISKCON temples in India, it is dedicated to
the Lord Krishna.
Have dinner at the restaurant on the way
to airport.
Day 13 - Departure
Early this morning transfer to the airport to board your
homebound flight. |
